Mengniu is the seventh largest Chinese dairy supplier in the world. It has different products such as pure milk, yogurt, and dairy beverages to meet the needs of different consumers.
Mengniu’s cattle farms are equipped with imported pipeline milking equipment and direct cooling milk tanks. The company uses milk trucks to transport the milk temporarily stored in direct cooling milk tanks to the dairy company for processing every day. After the milk trucks are transported to the processing workshop, the amount of milk needs to be measured.
At present, Mengniu Company mainly measures milk flow through special measuring cylinders and rulers. This measurement method has low measurement accuracy. On the other hand, the measuring cylinders and rulers are prone to produce sanitary blind spots, and need to be sterilized frequently, which is not very efficient and convenient to use. In the milk processing process, after the milk is batched and sterilized, factors such as secondary pollution need to be considered.
Due to the special safety and hygiene requirements of food production and processing, the pipelines and equipment of milk production need to be disinfected frequently; and because milk will produce certain bubbles or foams when flowing in the pipeline, it will affect the accuracy of milk flow measurement to a certain extent.

- CIP and SIP requirements. In-situ cleaning and sterilization involve corrosive media such as acids and alkalis. If high-temperature steam sterilization is used, a temperature of about 180°C will appear during the process.

Currently, our company has reached a strategic cooperation with Mengniu Company. The hygienic electromagnetic flow meter produced by our company has been successfully used in Mengniu’s flow monitoring project, helping the factory to better control every link.
