Application of Electromagnetic Flow Meters in Electroplating Wastewater Treatment

The ARTang electromagnetic flow meters is used in electroplating facilities, where precise control of plating tanks is essential for achieving the desired surface finish. Monitoring the volumetric flow of circulating electrolyte helps optimize the electroplating process. Additionally, parameters like temperature and flow rate are critical for plating quality. However, the medium can be challenging to measure due to the tendency of acid to crystallize when stagnant, and the corrosive environment and strong magnetic fields can cause failures in many flow meters.

The ARTang IP68 split-type electromagnetic flow meters supports outdoor installation and offers remote display capabilities. A corrosion-resistant version, with optional titanium, tantalum, and platinum electrodes, is available for measuring flow in various corrosive conductive liquids. This makes it ideal for flow measurement in electroplating or other chemical processes within the metal and steel industries.

This case from ARTang illustrates the application of electromagnetic flow meters, vortex flow meters, and radar level meters in electroplating wastewater treatment. Different flow meters can be selected based on specific conditions; ARTang can provide customized solutions for each application. For more information or questions, feel free to consult us.
